Gigazone, the 100 percent subsidiary of Gigabyte Group, launched a scheme that offers 15 percent discount on several of its models.
Under the scheme which is valid for a limited period, Gigazone will be offering its Topview T1691W-15.6-inch widescreen LCD monitor at MRP of Rs 3,499 instead of the earlier price of Rs 3,900. Similarly, the Envision P951w+ 18.5-inch widescreen LCD monitor will be available for Rs 4,599, instead of Rs 5,000.
The company sells its flat-panel display products under the two brands—Envision, focused more on premium users, while Topview is focused on the mass market. It recently launched a LED monitor P971wL and LCD monitor P951w+ under the Envision range. Under the Topview brand it launched three monitors—the 15.6-inch widescreen T1691W, the 18.5-inch A993W and the 21.5-inch EA220W.
The top four brands—Samsung, LG, AOC and Acer—control 80 percent of the flat-panel monitor market, so it would be tough for any new player to capture share. However, with the strong positions of our parent company, Gigabyte, and our well established resellers network, we aim to grow fast and emerge among the top brands in India, said Alexander Leonovich, Regional Account Manager, Gigazone International.
The company offers 3-year onsite warranty on all it display products, through its national service partner Accel Frontline. We intend to provide our customers with comprehensive support in all corners of the country. Working with our exclusive national distributor, our channel partners will get trustful and reliable service, fast and smart logistics, and of course competitive margins to reduce possible risks, assured Leonovich.
Early this year, Gigazone had partnered with Redington for the distribution of its entire range of flat-panel monitors in India.
